In the Hands of the Jury

Sonny's trial was pretty uneventful (if you ask me). Kate almost seemed like she was about to snap while on the stand especially when pressed about the gun.

Anthony attempted to lie and insist that he "Saw" Sonny shoot out his tires. Alexis showed that his eyesight was not as good as he claimed.

Much to Sonny's shock, Alexis called no witnesses and both sides gave their closing arguments.

Starr's emotional plea on the stand might sway the jury but ultimately, the prosecution had nothing but circumstantial evidence against Sonny. Surprisingly, John McBain was not in the courtroom (or was he? I don't recall seeing him)

Jason did show up to court and observed Kate's shaky emotional state.

Johnny and Carly cut out of the courtroom to go back to her house where she introduced him to Josslyn. What would Jax think about his daughter being exposed to another mobster?

Tracy saw Luke and Anna at Kelly's. She confessed the truth behind her marriage to Anthony and Luke thought about how he could help her out of this mess. Anthony arrived to find Tracy and Luke together and showed how he has the upper hand in their relationship. Will Luke get involved to help save Tracy?

Heather ran into Sam at the hospital. Sam seemed threatened at first by Heather especially when Heather grabbed the DNA paperwork out of Sam's hands. Heather threatened to tell Jason (and anyone else who would listen) the truth. Sam then told Heather that she would tell her precious son how Heather sold her cousin's baby. The women agreed that it would be best for both of them to remain silent.

Will Heather actually keep Sam's secret?

Kelly promised Sam that she would know who her baby's father is within 24 hours. Will Sam get the answer that she hopes for? Personally I am thinking that it is Franco's baby afterall and since it is too late to abort, what will Sam do?

With Ewen working on getting Kate committed, will Connie materialize again before he gets the paperwork?

Matt goes to see Maxie and pleads with her to tell the truth. He confesses that he loves her and just when it seems that she might give in, Spinelli literally falls into the room. Maxie then doesn't say whatever she was going to and instead tells both men to leave her alone.

Matt gets angry at Spinelli who apologizes but tells Matt that they cannot fight now, they have to figure out how to save Maxie from herself.

Next week Sam finds out who her baby daddy is. Will she then finally tell Jason the truth?
The jury will come back with a verdict. Will they find Sonny guilty?
How much longer can Kate keep Connie under wraps with so many people now knowing that she is not herself? It is only a matter of time before Spinelli or Ewen exposes the truth about Kate/Connie.
What will Sonny do about Michael's defiance?
Will Michael continue to stand by Starr?
What is Heather's plan for Luke?
How long before Steve realizes the mistake he has made by taking responsibility for Heather?
