Catching Up

Due to the holidays, General Hospital has not been airing many new episodes. Here's what you have missed the last week with a tease of what 2014 will be bringing:

Patrick finally came to his senses after having a talk with Sam and chose Robin.

Sabrina is left broken-hearted and much to her surprise, pregnant with Patrick's child.

Felix returns home to find Carlos recuperating from a gunshot wound and Sabrina getting through her break-up.

Maxie decides the best thing for her to do is to leave town in order to find herself.

Mac and Felicia try to be supportive of Maxie's decision.

Robin and Patrick get back to their life together but both have different ideas on how to do that.

Sam decides to move forward with Silus but he is holding a secret.

Brit gives in to Nikolas and agrees to make their relationship official.

Dante and Lulu decide to move forward with trying for a baby even though their embryos were destroyed.

The mob war causes Sonny to defend Morgan who has shot Max.

Julian is distressed over not being able to control Morgan.

Ava is upset with Julian for dragging Morgan into the fight.

Molly is relieved that TJ is okay and TJ lashes out at Shawn for his choice of career.

Anna, Duke and Robert spend Christmas Eve with Robin and Emma.

Patrick goes to see Sabrina and tells her he has chosen to be with his family.

A crushed Sabrina faces life without Patrick.

After the shooting at the warehouse, Shawn tries to talk with TJ but he doesn't want to hear about it.

AJ fires Diane and takes the stand in his own defense.

Robin asks Sabrina to do the right thing and give up Patrick.

Robin Reclaims Her Family!

Everyone at the wedding is in shock as they watch Emma reunited with Robin.

Patrick and Robin share a kiss as Sabrina sobs.

Robin urges Patrick to go to Sabrina who has run out of the room with Felix.

Felix tries to comfort Sabrina and tell her that it isn't over.

Anna breaks the news to Duke about Julian. Duke vows revenge but Anna pleads with him to let the police handle it.

Sonny discusses with Shawn how to handle the Jeromes.

Elizabeth and Epiphany are stunned by Robin's return and Elizabeth feels badly for urging Patrick to ignore his feelings that Robin was still alive.

Mac and Felicia get their moment with Robin as Anna walks in.

Anna apologizes to Mac for not telling him but he understands.

Jerry and Luke wrestle for the cure and Jerry goes off the side of the building, landing on an awning.

Assuming Jerry is dead, Luke doesn't rush down to see and he is rescued by Julian and Ava.

Patrick goes to Sabrina.

Luke discovers that Jerry is gone and confronts Ava who plays innocent as Jerry drives away with Julian.

Reunited!

Anna and Robert contemplate what to do about Faison.

Luke rushes off to save Bobbie but not before Carly discovers Jerry holding her mother hostage.

Britt almost confesses the truth about Ben to Nikolas who asks her to spend the night with him.\

Robin watches from the sidelines as Patrick and Sabrina's wedding happens.

Anna and Robert put an end to Faison's evil reign.

Luke arrives with the cure but he and Jerry struggle.

Emma sees Robin and is reunited with her mom as everyone in the church looks on stunned.

Sabrina's Best Day Ever or Not?

Last minute complications threaten Sabrina's special day.

Felix has to stand in to give her away when Patrick's dad fails to show up.

Bobbie doesn't make it to the wedding after stopping by Luke's hotel room she finds Jerry Jax handcuffed to the bed.

Jerry cons Bobbie into helping him.

Meanwhile Luke is fooled by Faison and after a close call being held hostage with Nikolas, Anna and Robert save them from Faison.

Robert gets Robin to the mainland, convinced she is on her way to stop the wedding and reclaim her family.

Maxie tries to see her baby but Spinelli warns her that if she doesn't leave he will call the police.

Maxie is determined but then realizes that he is not going to let her see her daughter.

Jerry contacts Luke who now has to save Bobbie from the madman.

Britt is reunited with a beaten Nikolas.

Patrick and Sabrina's wedding begins as Robin arrives.

Patrick receives a visit from Ava Jerome who tries to convince him that Robin is still alive.

Brad confronts Britt about the mysterious doctor who was in the lab and tells her that he will tell the world about who her baby's real father is if she doesn't confess the truth.

Diane and Alexis both try their best to sway the judge.

Dante admits that Lulu lied on the stand.

Faison gets the best of Dr. Obrecht and ties her up next to Duke.

In front of Sam, Sonny tells the room full of people that Derek Wells is really Julian Jerome.

Alexis reacts and asks him when he realized that he was Sam's father.

Julian tells Sam that he loves her and has been wanting to claim her and Danny as his family but didn't want to drag her into the drama.

Julian tries to twist the situation into his favor by revealing that he will be a dead man when he leaves the gallery because Sonny has ordered a hit on him.

Morgan runs out and Michael follows.

Michael and Morgan argue and the fight gets physical.

Carly goes after Franco and tries to convince him to not feel like he is damaged because of who his real parents are.

Franco rejects Carly's concern at first.

Kiki arrives at the docks just as Morgan knocks out Michael and he falls into the water.

Sonny is frustrated when Julian turns the tables on him.

Heather's Reveal!

Franco's return to the art world is a bust when not only does Heather announce that she is the artist but she is Franco's mother!

The stunned onlookers don't believe her at first but after Heather produces DNA results and a birth certificate, the truth about who Franco really is brings anger to many.

Scott is stunned to find out that his one-nighter a long time ago produced a son.

Carly feels sadness for Franco who is caught off-guard by Heather's revelation.

Sam feels anger at Heather for tormenting her when Jason was alive.

Scott has the police take Heather away.

Diane protects Franco from prosecution.

Max and Diane discuss their feelings for each other.

As the drama dies down from Heather's reveal, Sonny arrives at the gallery to make his own fireworks.

Franco is Back

The bug that Morgan planted in Sonny's office gives Derek an earful.

Michael tries to get Sonny to explain his dealings with the D.A. but Sonny insists on keeping Michael out of his business.

Sonny tells Max that Derek is Julian and tells him he will be going to the art show.

Franco readies for his premier with Diane being fully aware that his art is not his.

Heather stalks Scott who is horrified that he cannot get rid of her.

Lucy worries that Heather will ruin the election for Scott.

Carly turns down Franco again thinking that he and Diane have something going on.

Morgan gives Scott the proof to win the election thanks to Derek.

Ava warns Derek that Sam knows about her family and her ties to it.

Duke Discovers a Secret at Windemere

Dr. Obrecht in an Anna mask doesn't fool Duke but soon Faison gets control over the discovery.

Sonny taunts Derek with naming Julian Jerome as the person who targeted his business but doesn't let on that he knows who he is.

Robin continues to feel tortured that she is so close to her family but cannot see them.

Residents prepare for Halloween and the opportunity arises for Robin to see her family.

Leslie shows up at Windemere with Spencer and is stunned to find Faison.

Nikolas tells her that she imagined seeing Faison but Leslie cannot shake what she saw.

Carly is tempted by Franco but then is wooed by Derek.

Felix gives Brad a hard time about the baby and Nikolas overhears Brad saying that the baby is not his.

Nikolas remembers hearing Faison talk to Britt about how she is not even the biological mother of baby Ben and he begins to wonder what the truth is.

Robin sneaks into the hospital party in costume and spies on her family.

Robin observes Sabrina mothering Emma.

Duke goes to Windemere where Faison and Obrecht are home alone.

When they are almost discovered, Obrecht dons her Anna disguise but is unable to fool Duke who only becomes more curious.

Robin runs out of the party but is pursued by Patrick.

Robin's back in Port Charles, unfortunately she cannot reclaim her family.

Britt and Nikolas take baby Ben to the hospital to be checked after being kidnapped and run into Patrick and Sabrina who happily tell them they are engaged.

Britt reacts strangely to their announcement and Felix and Sabrina wonder what she is up to.

Patrick shares his news with Maxie who is busily preparing to get her baby back.

Michael accepts Sonny's offer to run his restaurant and that further puts a wedge between his relationship with Morgan.

After Morgan finds out who Derek Wells really is he runs off to tell Sonny but then changes his mind.

Julian/Derek sends Carlos to kill Morgan but instead he brings Morgan to him.

Ava pleads for Morgan to be spared and Morgan tells Julian he will work for him and help him to bring his father down.

Later behind closed doors, Ava warns Morgan that Julian is ruthless.

Sam and Silus set out for New York City to the bar he used to frequent with Ava in search of people who knew Victor Jerome.

Alexis shares with Derek her daughter's latest p.i. investigation and almost spills the truth about Julian's son.

Nikolas is stunned to find Robin being held in the lab. After explaining to her why he is there they head off to find the baby.

Nikolas then becomes a hero to Britt by saving her from Faison.

Silus tells Kiki that her mother has a brother who helped her fund her art gallery. Kiki is annoyed to find out yet another lie from her mother and goes to Michael to share the reveal about a mysterious uncle.

Michael who is with Sonny and Shawn at the time, expresses interest in finding out more about this uncle.

Robert almost tells Mac about Robin but then remembers what Anna warned him about.

Anna goes off to see Faison to get to the truth.

Dr. Obrecht, disguised as Anna, gets to Faison first. After getting Faison to admit he had Robin, Obrecht reveals herself to a stunned Faison.

Anna gets to the prison but finds out that someone posing as her already has seen Faison.

Franco tries to get Derek to stand up Carly but fails.

Alexis gets Carly's help in finding Sam's father.

Carly and Franco try to make each other jealous, Carly with Derek and Franco with Diane but Carly wins the first round.

Molly and Raif are surprised to catch Sam and Silus in a compromising position.

Molly and TJ realize that Taylor and Raif are trying to make them jealous.

Anna and Mac are disappointed at first when Robert cannot remember what happened.

Robert is determined to remember and as he thinks back he finally remembers what he was trying to tell Anna right before he collapsed.

Duke and Alexis talk about Julian and he shows her a picture of a younger Julian.

Duke tells Alexis that Julian has a son that he doesn't know about and they devise a plan to contact him to get a DNA sample.

Franco is Freed!

Thanks to Diane's legal manueverings, Franco returns to the Quartermaines, much to the shock of Tracy and Ava.

After confessing to Tracy that he was the one who poisoned both of the relishes, Franco throws Ava out of the house.

Ava is desperate to stay in Tracy's good graces and begs her not to fire her from ELQ but Tracy tells her that she is no longer needed.

Franco tells Carly that he needs for her to believe he is a changed man.

Michael brings Kiki to see Franco and tells her that he respects how his brother feels about her and cannot come between them.

Olivia tries to take care of Sonny but (stupidly) leaves him with a bottle of his medication.

Sonny continues on a self-destructive course and doesn't take his medication.

Sam tells Dr. Clay that she cannot even think about entering into a relationship until she knows that Danny is okay.

Molly and TJ get back together much to the disappointment of Raif.

Felix continues to grill Brad about why he is abandoning his child.

Sabrina rushes Britt's baby to the hospital leaving Nicholas to consol her.

Brad stands idly by as efforts are made to save the baby that everyone thinks is his. He wrestles with what to do with the information he overheard.

Dr. Clay saves the baby and Sam is impressed by his skills.

Britt gets to the hospital and is relieved that the baby is okay.

After Lulu shared her news about Luke, both Spinelli and Maxie cannot tell them the truth about the baby.

Not Guilty by Reason of Tumor?

After Diane is unable to get the judge to release AJ, she has better luck with her next Quartermaine client.

Diane stuns the courtroom by producing a jar containing the tumor removed from Franco's brain and claims it is the reason why he should not be held accountable for his past crimes.

Carly testifies that although she doesn't trust Franco with her children she does believe that she has seen a new man in Franco.

Sabrina goes to see Britt and gives her a piece of her mind about what she did to Patrick and Emma.

Britt fights back and then goes in labor and begs Sabrina to help her.

Nicholas goes to see Brad and demands that he takes care of Britt and their baby. Brad refuses, saying this was not a part of their agreement.

Michael, Morgan and Dante go searching for Sonny.

Olivia has a vision that helps her to figure out where Sonny is.

Patrick explains to Emma that there is no baby.

Brad runs into Dante and tells him that there is something he needs to know.

Luke goes to visit a surprised Tracy who assumed he was dead. He tells her that he is happy she got ELQ back and tells her that he has to continue on his journey alone to find Jerry.

Michael tells Elizabeth about AJ and she remembers how angry he was at Connie. Both she and Michael wonder if he could have killed her.

Scott finds Laura at the hospital and tells her that he wants a divorce.

Dante and Anna try to get a confession out of AJ but he cannot remember anything from the night before.

Lulu is frustrated by Dante's absence, unaware that Connie has been murdered.

Felix tells Patrick and Sabrina about Britt's mother and Patrick runs off to find where Britt is, worried about his unborn baby.

Nicholas asks Britt to be honest with him about her involvement with her mother. He tells her he will trust her even though others have warned him against doing so.

AJ tells Anna and Dante that Tracy has a gun and Dante goes off to find it.

Nicholas goes to the hospital to see Lulu and his new niece but runs into an upset Elizabeth first.

Lulu overhears Luke and Laura discussing his illness.

Laura leaves for an overdue checkup in Paris and Lulu confronts Luke about his illness.

Tracy opens the safe for Dante to find her gun is missing.

Who is AJ?

Connie leaves a clue of "AJ" written in her own blood.

Everyone assumes that she meant AJ Quartermaine and as Sonny confronts him, Olivia tells Alexis that she hopes Sonny kills him for murdering her cousin.

Dante rushes off to find Sonny and runs into Michael.

Dante and Michael discuss where AJ is and then come upon Sonny holding a gun to AJ.

Meanwhile Ellie finds Franco on the roof of the hospital and the two talk before Ellie decides to go off to find Spinelli and beg forgiveness.

Kiki and Morgan search for Franco.

Carly comes to the hospital looking for AJ and finds out Franco is missing.

Carly finds Franco and tells him he has yet to prove to her that he is trying to redeem himself.

Spinelli and Lulu talk about Maxie and Spinelli holds back from telling her the truth.

They both feel badly that they didn't know Maxie almost died after childbirth.

Michael saves AJ by stopping Sonny from killing him. Dante takes AJ away, promising Sonny that he will pay for killing his cousin.

Who Killed Connie?

Sonny rushes to find Connie dying from a gunshot wound. Although he promises her they will be together forever, she dies but not before she writes "AJ" in her own blood.

Olivia is frantic about her vision and Alexis brings her to find Connie.

Dante is called away from the hospital due to a shooting that Sonny calls in. Lulu is mad that Dante has to go but tells Mac that she better get used to this.

Mac and Lulu discuss Maxie's attachment to the baby and Mac explains that Maxie believes the baby is hers and Spinelli's.

Spinelli and Ellie continue to argue and Spinelli tries to absorb the fact that he is a father.

Derek remembers the night he met Alexis and summons Ava to the hospital to tell him about his daughter.

Ava warns him against blowing their cover.

AJ stumbles back into the Quartermaine's and Michael tries to find out where he has been.

Dr. Clay prepares to get Derek ready for the transplant.

A Baby and a Gunshot Shake Up Port Charles

Ellie explains the truth to a stunned Spinelli.

Dante and Lulu struggle with deciding on a name for their baby girl.

Olivia has a vision and is desperate to get to her new granddaughter, sensing trouble. Sonny and Olivia get stuck in the elevator together and she helps him through his panic attack.

A drunk and angry AJ arrives at Connie's office threatening to kill her. Connie manages to call Sonny and although he cannot hear what is going on, as soon as he gets out of the elevator he heads to her office.

Alexis and Sam are thrilled when they find out there is a bone marrow donor match and share the news with Derek that he is the one in 50,000 that is a match.

Alexis shares with Derek the story of her one-night stand and as she tells him about the mysterious Julian, he begins to remember.

Derek tells Alexis that he will help Danny but he prefers to remain low-key about it.

Mac and Felicia find out how close Maxie came to dying after giving birth.

Maxie awakens and tells Mac and Felicia that she saw Georgie. Then she asks for her baby and tells them that the baby is hers. Mac and Felicia think it is just the pain killers talking and get the doctor to sedate her when they feel she is just having trouble letting go.

Dante and Lulu confront Spinelli and Ellie who argue loudly.

Michael and Kiki talk about their fathers and her quickie marriage. Kiki tells him that she must stand by Morgan and their marriage.

Sonny arrives at Connie's office to find her lying on the floor with a gunshot wound.

Olivia has another vision.

Dr. Obrecht's evil plot to seek revenge on Anna backfires when Duke drinks the poisoned champagne at Felicia and Mac's wedding.

Duke regains consciousness because the dosage was meant for Anna so it was not a fatal dose for Duke. He tells Anna that Dr. Obrecht is responsible.

Spinelli and Felix overhear Anna talking about the evil doctor and fill her in on Spinelli's investigation of Britt's mother.

Dante and Anna rush to Felix's apartment but the evil doctor manages to escape. (a ridiculous moment if I do say so)

Meanwhile Felicia and Mac's wedding is interrupted by Richard Simmons who apologizes to all for his behavior at the nurses' ball.

Felicia and Mac finally go on to get married.

Lulu feels that Maxie is becoming to attached to her baby.

Luke and Holly's search for Jerry Jax brings them to an abandoned mansion in Pennsylvania where Dr. Obrecht flees to. (another strange moment in soap opera land- how does she escape the apartment in New York and seemingly minutes later arrive in Pennsylvania?)

Luke and Holly discover her connection to Jerry but the pieces are falling together for many Port Charles residents who will discover all of her deeds.

Connie goes to see Kevin to find the answers to why she sabotaged her relationship with Sonny.

Olivia tells Sonny that they both should have fought to stay together instead of allowing Connie to break them up.

Maxie goes into labor!

Dante and Anna arrest Britt who insists she knows nothing about her mother's wherabouts or crimes.

Hiding the Truth

Port Charles reacts to the headline "Kiki not a Q".

Sonny feels betrayed by Connie and runs to Olivia who tries to defend Connie's actions.

Michael frantically tries to find Kiki but Morgan is one step ahead of his brother.

Morgan takes Kiki to the courthouse to get their marriage license and tries to talk her into getting married right away.

Michael confronts Ava about her lie and Ava has not much to say for herself.

Sam and Silus discover he has a daughter and a stunned Silus goes to find Kiki.

Mac and Felicia go to get their marriage license and run into Morgan and Kiki.

Tracy and Elizabeth hash it out and Elizabeth asks her why they just cannot work together.

AJ confronts Connie angrily about her actions, convinced that she has ruined his life.

Sonny pulls a gun on AJ when he finds him with his hands around Connie's throat.

Shake Up At ELQ

Connie shares her secret with Tracy who urges her to go ahead and use it despite how Sonny will feel.

Luke gets help from Holly to find Jerry Jax.

Scott tells Lucy that Laura has taken off after Luke.

Tracy makes an investment in Lucy's spa in order to get her share of ELQ.

Anna and Duke go to Sonny to get information about the Jerome family. Sonny suspects they are behind the gambling that got Morgan into trouble but insists that they are sloppy and he can shut them down.

Anna warns Sonny that they are very dangerous and don't care who they hurt.

Under hypnosis Alexis remembers the name of Sam's father- Julian.

Sam goes to see Connie and finds Ava and Julian instead.

Franco finds a friend in Carly who helps to save his life when his brain tumor convinces him that he is Jason.

Silus becomes a support to Sam who feels desperate to save her son.

Kate and Sonny get back together but for how long?

Felix asks for Michael's help to get to the truth about Brit's baby.

Meanwhile Brit appears to come clean with Nicholas.

Catching Up on Port Charles

Due to my Internet being down I have not kept up this blog. I have been keeping up with the goings on in Port Charles and instead of my normal updates I will catch you up about what's been going on on GH.

Silus continues to taunt Sam about Danny's condition. His lack of compassion and coldness towards Sam and Raif is confusing as he suggests a protocol that actually helps Danny cope with chemo but then tells Sam that Danny is not out of the woods yet. Silus tells Sam she should begin looking for a bone marrow donor for her son. Knowing that there will be a Franco tie to this, who besides me foresees that Franco will be the only match to save Danny's life?

Speaking of Franco, he knows that it was Carly who tried to kill him but he is unaware that the bullet that hit Olivia (and was meant for him)) came from none other than his baby momma Ava Jerome. As Ava and Franco team up to try and get their daughter on their side, will anyone be fooled by this partnership?

Meanwhile where is Monica as all these people have moved into her home?

Carly is livid that Morgan is living at the Q's with Franco and tries to get him to leave. Franco turns around and threatens to tell Morgan that she tried to kill him.

Olivia recovers from her near-death gunshot and Sonny tells her that she will finish her recovery at his house. A strange love triangle continues between Connie, Olivia and Sonny. I think it's time for someone new to come to town instead of Sonny revisiting his past with the two cousins.

Lulu and Dante excitedly prepare for the birth of their daughter. Meanwhile SPinelli recognizes that Maxie is becoming attached to the baby.

Speaking of babies, the paternity of Britt's baby seems to be Patrick's but after Britt receives a text message from her mother reassuring her that everything would work out, one has to wonder if Ellie was forced into fixing the test.

Patrick and Sabrina's romance heats up in spite of Britt.

Taylor manages to mess up Molly and TJ's chances of getting back together after she announces that they slept together. A horrified Molly finds herself getting support from TJ.

Shawn and Alexis' relationship is damaged by her figuring out his role in the attempt against Franco's life. Even when Shawn tells her that it wasn't his gun that shot Olivia, the damage has already been done and Alexis is fearful to continue their relationship.

Luke's mysterious illness is actually poisoning by Helena and the only thing that can save him is tracking down Jerry Jacks to find the cure for the poisoning. He shares the ugly story with Anna who agrees to help him. Tracy insists that she goes with him on his adventure to find Jerry.

Lulu is upset that Luke is leaving town but doesn't know the real reason. Laura senses that something is very wrong with Luke but he only shares his secret with a few select people.

Mac and Felicia make plans for their wedding.

Duke tells Anna about meeting Ava Jerome and tells her that he has a bad feeling about her. Although Ava insists that she is not related to the crime family, Duke thinks otherwise.

Michael struggles with his feelings for his cousin and asks AJ to help him.

Felix is frustrated by Taylor's refusal to believe the truth about Brit.

Franco knows it was Carly who set up the hit that almost killed Olivia.

Family gathered around Sam to support her while they awaited news about Danny.

Raif's uncle insisted upon holding the hearing telling Diane that it didn't matter what Sam was going through.

Diane was stunned by his coldness.

Shawn skated around the truth when pressed by Alexis.

Nicholas warned Alexis about her bad choices in men.

Lulu and Dante's happy reunion was interrupted by Olivia's shooting.

Editorial:
I don't know about you but the return of Franco (re-casting of) is bothering me. Yes, Roger Howarth is a fantastic actor but the line between the Todd character and Franco is blurred. Franco had a dark edge that Roger just isn't showing. I guess GH was desperate to be able to use this actor and after the whole Prospect Park lawsuit, maybe they just didn't want to create a new character? It's just weird to have no mentions of the OLTL crossover characters and instead we now have 3 rather unlikeable characters played by 3 very talented actors. I'm pretty sure that they will not be around for long.

Last week on GH the identity of the mystery man was revealed. Jason failed in killing Franco and after those who loved him were mysteriously summoned to the Haunted Star, Franco revealed himself to all.

He attempted to apologize for his past actions and showed proof to Sam that he hadn't raped her after all. Little good this did because the damage was done.

AJ was stunned to find out about Michael's rape while in prison and he blamed Carly and Sonny for not protecting his son.

Lulu finally got her memory back after she remembered what Stavros forced her to do.

Tracy forced Luke to face his medical problems.

Editorial: Roger Howarth is a fantastic actor and if anyone call pull off the character of Franco he certainly can but one has to wonder what the "real" Franco thinks about this re-cast. Rumor has it that James Franco has quite the ego and having had creative involvement with helping to develop the character how does he feel about the re-cast?

The whole controversy with the OLTL characters who crossed over to GH has been trying for the viewers. We finally saw Michael happy and now the actress who played Starr is back as Kiki, Franco's daughter. It is not unlike when Sarah Brown who played Carly was cast as Claudia. Viewers accepted her as Claudia but it was still odd to see her interact with Sonny.

As a fan of John, Todd and Starr I miss their characters on GH. I have to admit that I've watched 3 webisodes of OLTL but honestly I just haven't had the time to commit. Prospect Park has recognized that fans are mainly catching up on All My CHildren and One Life to Live on the weekends and they have decided to cut back on the amount of episodes that they air. Is the whole idea of web soap viewing failing? I hope not. I think it just needs some tweeking.

Faithful viewing of your stories is hard when you work outside the home and have a full life. I don't want to give up watching my shows but I definitely can't watch daily.
