Goodbyes

Lulu and Dante are crushed to find out that Lulu cannot carry a baby to term.

Luke has his own disappointment when he and Anna fingerprint Duke only to find that he is the real Duke.

Duke shows up at pier 52 and finishes off Bernie who has already summoned Sonny. Joe gets shot again this time by Duke.

Joe manages to escape and Duke pushes Jason's body into the water.

Sonny arrives to find Bernie near death and jumps into the water desperate to find Jason. Bernie dies without telling Sonny his secrets as the dive team goes on a search for Jason's body.

Starr pleads with Trey and Michael to not go to the pier. Trey gets a call from Tracy and lies that it is Kristina.

Monica shares her happiness with Tracy who tells her about Joe.

Joe shows up and confesses to Tracy that he saved her life during the water crisis. He gets her to call Trey to the house so that he can say goodbye.

John goes to see Jason but finds Sam instead. They talk about what could have been and agree to be friends.

John leaves and Sonny arrives to tell Sam the news.

Duke returns to Anna to celebrate.

Luke cannot stop Anna and Duke from being together.

Happiness is Short-Lived

Sam and Jason go home together with baby Danny ready to live out the life they dreamed of.

Luke confides in Lulu that he will stop Duke from taking Anna from him.

Lulu and Dante both work on finding out why they cannot get pregnant.

Lulu receives some devastating news.

Todd continues to lie and gets released thanks to Diane.

Joe goes to see Trey and pulls a gun on Michael and Starr. Trey argues with his father and chooses his friends over Joe.

Joe tells Trey that the plan to bring down Sonny is not his own but someone so powerful that he cannot say no to him.

Benny leaves a voicemail for Jason, pleading for his help.

Benny was forced by Duke to put all Sonny's assets into Kristina's name so that killing Kristina would make her husband powerful and rich.

As Benny waits for Jason on Pier 52, Joe shows up and shoots him.

Jason hears the message and Sam urges him to go do what he needs to.


Jason arrives at the pier and finds a dying Benny and Joe Scully. Gunfire erupts and Joe is wounded and so is Jason.

Duke Lavery is at the scene.

SPOILER! We all know that the character of Jason will be leaving the scene on October 22nd. We have all wondered how this character will be written off and it seems that it is part of the plan of Duke Lavery. Duke is deceiving Anna by trying to get back into her life but we know he has kidnapped Robin and is intent on destroying Sonny.

The lives of many people are affected by Duke's deeds and the next few weeks will reveal the secrets and manipulations Duke began.

Second Chances

Only Heather falls from the hospital roof, the baby is saved by Jason!

Heather survives the fall (no one ever seems to die!) and after Steve assures her that she will be okay, Heather and Anna discuss Robin.

Sabrina overhears the exchange and tells Patrick that she thinks his wife is alive.

Patrick and Anna have a much-needed discussion and Anna comes clean about looking for Robin.

Sam is reunited with her baby while Todd and John tell Tea the truth.

John is disgusted that Todd has hurt Tea and just might get away with it.

Jason decides that he wants Sam and baby Danny in his life and asks her to come home with him.

Anna is confused by Duke's return. Luke is suspicious and is surprised by Anna's reaction.

Alexis, Kristina and Molly come to see Sam and Danny, thrilled that he is alive.

Sonny and Alexis ask Trey to help them get Connie committed in order to get her the help she needs.

Connie continues to torture Johnny.

As word gets out about Sam's baby, Todd's role in the baby swap is questioned.

Carly confronts Todd about what he has done.

Tea asks for the truth but doesn't really get it.

Starr and Todd talk and she is disturbed when he tells her the truth but asks her to keep it a secret.

Joe shows up at Trey's and Trey is less than happy to see him. Michael shows up and Joe pulls a gun on him.

Luke discusses Duke with Lulu.

If I Can't Have Him...

Tea shows up at Todd's door, despondent over Heather kidnapping her son.

Todd attempts to come clean with her but Tea's hysteria keeps him from being able to do so.

Olivia "sees" Heather dressed as a nurse and explains to Epiphany her visions.

Duke tells the woman from the clinic in Switzerland about his reunion with Anna.

Tracy and Luke discuss their relationships.

Olivia runs into Heather with the baby in a hospital stairwell and Heather pushes her down the stairs.

Jason and Sam hear Olivia fall and go to see what happened. Olivia urges them to go after her. Jason and Sam follow Heather to the roof.

After Dante finds his mother and goes up to the roof, Heather makes him leave.

Dante alerts Anna to the situation and John and Anna with Todd and Tea rush to the hospital.

After a tense discussion, Sam almost convinces Heather to give her the baby.

Much to everyone's horror, Heather decides if she cannot have a second chance at motherhood with the baby then she and the baby have to die together.

Back From the Dead

Anna gets the shock of her life when she discovers Duke is alive. After her initial disbelief, Duke says things that convince her that it really is him and they embrace.

The hunt is on for Heather Webber.

Jason tells Sam everything.

Maxie is jealous that Spinelli has found Ellie.

Lulu and Dante concentrate on starting a family.

Luke returns home and after seeing Lulu he goes home to catch up with Anna.

Heather goes to see Steven Lars who tricks her into thinking he is going to go along with her plan. When she realizes his deception she knocks him out and leaves.

Olivia finds Steve and calls Dante.

John goes to see Todd and tells him he cannot try to lie his way out of what he has done.

Todd continues to try, hopelessly in denial that he has been caught.

Heather calls Todd and demands he help her get out of town with the baby. Todd tries to reason with her but then grabs some cash and as he is leaving, Tea shows up at his door.

Jason and Sam rush to the hospital to talk to Steve.

Luke and Duke argue over Anna who is overwhelmed by the circumstances.

Anna leaves deciding she needs to focus on finding Heather and Joe Scully.

Secrets Revealed

If you missed GH last week, you missed a lot of reveals! Sonny and Kate's wedding was a disaster as Olivia tried to warn Dante and Steve that her cousin was Connie.

Steve and Dante believed that Olivia was hallucinating and didn't take her seriously.

Connie insisted that Johnny attend the wedding on the Haunted Star and Johnny reluctantly attended with Carly in tow.

Kristina was a no-show much to the disappointment of her parents but little did they know at the time that after she had it out with Trey she was kidnapped by Joe jr.

Meanwhile Elizabeth confessed all to Jason who promptly summoned John to help him get back Sam's baby.

John headed off to Llanview only to find that Tea's baby had been kidnapped by her nanny who turned out to be Heather Webber. Tea is shocked to find out who her nanny was. She doesn't understand why Heather would want her son.

As the couple got ready to take their vows, Kate revealed herself to all as Connie and announced that she could not marry Sonny because she was already married to Johnny.

Marrying Johnny and holding his secret meant that no one could have her committed. Sonny was horrified and pleaded with Johnny to get Kate the help that she needed. Connie confessed to Sonny that she knew the truth about her son.

Alexis and Sonny conspired to figure out a way to get Kate help.

Trey figures out that his father has taken Kristina and goes to rescue her. Joe's plan is to kill Kristina, have Trey inherit her money and get his revenge against Sonny.

Trey gets to Kristina in time but winds up shooting his father who takes off. Joe winds up at the Quartermaine's and tricks Tracy into helping him.

Kristina and Trey go to her mother's where Jason is getting ready to tell Sam the truth about her baby. After hearing their story they call Dante who goes off looking for Joe.

Dante goes to see Tracy who after hearing the truth gives him up but he has taken off again.

A devastated Carly takes her anger out on Todd who then is able to make her see that it wasn't his fault. Carly decides to spend the night at Todd's.

Sonny and Alexis go to the police station where Kristina apologizes for not listening to her father. She tells Sonny that Trey did not know his father's plan and says if it wasn't for Trey she would be dead.

The hunt for Heather and the baby is on. Alexis figures out a way to get Kate treatment but it involves her son.

Will Jason reveal the truth to Sam? Will Johnny's secret be revealed since John knows Todd is behind the baby swap?

Deception

Jason is disappointed by the results of the DNA test and tells Spinelli that the search for Sam's baby is over.

Spinelli refuses to believe the results and tells Jason that he is not giving up. Spinelli asks the lab tech who helped him previously to meet them at the restaurant and she confirms that Spinelli is correct in pursuing another test.

Starr tries to help a troubled Trey who only tells Starr that he has met his mother.

Trey goes to Sonny's party only to be threatened by Sonny but he doesn't back down.

Dante wonders what is going on with Trey and is suspicious of him. Sonny doesn't share the truth with him. Michael keeps the secret of who Trey really is.

Tracy goes to return Joe's medal and winds up in an embrace.

Kate's bachelorette party is a success when Maxie and Lulu get Milo to strip. Kate/Connie forces herself on Milo behind closed doors and Olivia is horrified to catch Kate in an embrace. Kate/Connie convinces Olivia that it was a hallucination but not before Milo runs off terrified of Sonny's reaction.

Kristina tries to convince Sam that her marriage to Jason is not over.

Elizabeth confesses to Lulu within earshot of Sam that she and Jason are involved.

Elizabeth's manipulations cause Sam to believe that she doesn't have a chance with Jason.

Maxie goes to see Spinelli but finds him with someone else.

Johnny asks Carly to take off with him and she is suspicious of why he is running away.

The realization that Trey is her son caused Kate to have Connie reappear. Connie headed for the hospital with a proposition for Johnny.

Sonny, Michael and Starr discussed Trey's father and they discovered his true identity.

Tracy shared with Monica and then decided to give Joe a chance to explain himself although Monica warned her against it.

Joe denied raping Kate and told Trey that she didn't want him. Trey wondered if it was Kate's alter who reacted to him and found no sympathy for Kate from Joe. Joe pressed Trey to focus on their revenge although Trey had trouble trusting Joe.

Patrick agreed to go on a date with a doctor from the hospital. A new nurse seemed to have an interest in Patrick.

Now that Joe's secret is out what will Sonny do?

With Connie threatening to reveal Johnny's secret will Johnny be forced to go along with her plan to wreck Kate and Sonny's wedding?

Sorry faithful followers of this blog but I have returned to the outside work world (again) and it will take me a bit to get a rhythm..Please bear with me and enjoy my review of Monday's episode


Sam excitedly goes to see Jason hoping to see if they can reconcile but finds him in an embrace with Elizabeth.

What Sam doesn't know is that Jason turns down Elizabeth and tells her he wants to honor Jake by keeping her safe and that means they can never be together.

Spinelli tells Jason that there is still hope that Sam's baby is alive.

Tea hires Heather who is calling herself Susan Moore. Meanwhile she calls Todd who tells her he doesn't know who Susan is.

Heather's strange behavior doesn't cause Tea concern and she brushes it off.

Todd gets disconnected from Tea and leaves her a voice mail.

Todd tells Steve to watch out for his mother when he tells him that she called him during the crisis.

Steve finds out that Heather has escaped.

Sonny walks in on Tracy with Joe and breaks the news to her about who he really is.

Tracy kicks him out of her life.

Kate confronts Trey and soon discovers that he is her son. Connie slips out and tells Trey the details of how he came to be. Sonny walks in as Connie and Trey are getting physical.

Alexis and Kristina persuade Sam to not sign the divorce papers but Sam feels it is over and signs the papers.


On a sad note, the actor who has played Edward Quartermaine for the last 20 years died Sunday at the age of 84 of cancer. He will be missed.

The Plot Thickens

Kristina manages to stop Sonny from going after Trey and the two share a father/daughter moment.

Alexis comforts Sam who admits she might be able to forgive Jason after accepting that it was not his fault that her baby died.

Spinelli attempts to charm a lab tech into testing the dead baby's tissue.

Elizabeth gives Jason a birthday present and brings him home to a decorated apartment. She then tells him how she feels about him.

Joe persuades Trey to stay in the marriage and tells him to get Sonny on his side.

Starr tells Michael about meeting Joe and admits she doesn't know if Trey and Joe are lying or not.

Michael discusses Kristina's wedding with Kate and presses her to remember if she knew someone named Mitchell back in Brooklyn.

Michael goes to Starr's in hopes of meeting Trey's dad but misses him.

Trey arrives at Sonny's but sees Kate instead.

Monica has a talk with Tracy and tells her she is concerned about her new relationship. Monica tells her that Joe seems to genuinely like Tracy but she warns her to be careful.

Kate notices the medal Trey is wearing and asks him where he got it. Trey admits it was a gift from his father and Kate realizes that Joe is Trey's dad and she slips into Connie.

The lab tech tells Spinelli that the dead baby was not Sam's.

Jason and Elizabeth kiss as Sam arrives to reconcile with Jason.

Alexis is happy to find a calmer Sonny with Kristina.

Joe goes to see Tracy who asks him what his last name is.

Kristina tries to explain her actions to Sam.

Tracy and Joe have another encounter.

Todd is the supportive friend to Carly but attempts to smother Johnny when left alone with him.

Johnny warns Todd that Jax knows they share a secret and if Jax tells Carly Johnny will not spare Todd.

Sonny goes to see Jason who is recovering from a gunshot wound.

Spinelli returns to town and goes to see Maxie. In front of Mac and Felicia, Spinelli tells her that they cannot be "just" friends because he loves her.

Felicia has a heart-to-heart with her daughter and tells her about her relationship with Frisco and how she finally came to her senses with Mac.

Jason calls on Spinelli to help him solve the mystery surrounding Sam's baby. Spinelli is determined to find the answers.

Sonny tries to break the news about Jax to Carly, Michael and Starr but Jax shows up.

Michael reluctantly tells Sonny about Kristina and Trey and as expected, Sonny goes to find his daughter.

Trey meets up with his father who tells him there will be no annulment.

Starr walks in to overhear Trey and Joe talking.

Jax tells them about Jerry's motive and thanks Sonny for saving his life.

Jax warns Carly about Johnny's secret.

Crisis Over!

Thankfully the torturous water contamination storyline seems to be coming to an end. I don't know about the rest of you faithful GH viewers, but between the time change this past Monday and this outrageous plotline, I fear that someone is trying to do in our last surviving ABC soap. Enough of my narrative, here is what happened today on GH.

Shawn and Alexis shared a passionate kiss.

John managed to defuse the bomb and save the anti-serum.

Lulu and Dante rushed the anti-serum to the hospital.

John, Alexis and Shawn found out that the explosion was Jerry's boat. Sonny was thrown clear of the explosion but it appears that Jax was not so lucky.

The Coast Guard apparently confirmed that Jerry is dead but did not yet find Jax.

Alexis and Shawn rushed back to her house to a relieved Molly, TJ and Sam.

Steve and Kate found Olivia on the roof and feared she was having a hallucination.

Olivia foresaw rain saving them from death.

Monica and Jason talked about Sam's baby and Jason shared his concerns with her.

Sonny and Kate were reunited and Sonny told Kate about Jax' fate.

The "cure" for the pathogen was released into the water and sprayed overhead to the residents.

John showed up at Alexis' and Sam asked him to stay.

Dante announced the good news to everyone in the hospital and people quickly went on with their lives.

Steve and Kate realized that Olivia had predicted the future.

Coming: Sonny tries to break bad news to Carly who refuses to believe him.

Steve realizes that Olivia has a gift.

Dante and Lulu get busy on starting a family.

Sam decides who she wants to be with as Jason investigates what happened to the baby.

Countdown to the End

Lulu arrives at the marina to find Johnny bleeding to death from a gunshot and Todd doing nothing to help him.

Carly arrives with the car and Todd reluctantly drives the two of them to the hospital. Lulu runs off to find Dante in the warehouse trying to defuse the bomb that is attached to the anti-serum.

John gets frustrated over the lack of help from the FBI and the three of them attempt to defuse the bomb.

Sonny and Shawn team up to save Alexis who Jerry ties up while he fights with Jax.

Jax is stunned that he cannot get through to his brother. Jerry tells Jax that he is dying of radiation poisoning from the gunshot wound he had received from the Balken and the cure will cost millions. Getting the cure is the reason behind him asking for the money.

At the hospital Patrick manages to make an anti-serum but it is only enough for one person.

Monica tells Tracy that their cook has died and Tracy fears for her father. She has Edward brought to the hospital and steals the anti-serum for him.

Edward refuses to take the serum and instead insists that Tracy give it to Patrick for Emma. Monica looks the other way as Tracy urges Patrick to save his little girl.

Johnny, Carly and Todd arrive at the hospital and Todd doesn't hide his lack of concern for Johnny. Carly gets Steve to give him medical attention but Johnny tries to confess to Carly.

Carly asks Todd what Johnny feels he needs to confess to her. She tells him that Jax saw Todd and Johnny arguing.

Sonny sends Shawn away with Alexis and although Sonny is not well he goes after Jerry.

Sonny manages to shoot Jerry after he knocks Jax down. A gunfight ensues and a barrel of gasoline is hit putting both Sonny and Jax in danger.

John sends Dante and Lulu running for their lives as the timer ticks down without them defusing it.

John says goodbye to his son as he awaits his fate.

Patrick gives Emma the anti-serum and thanks Edward.

Edward is dying and as the show ends, Tracy talks about the good life he has led and how he is ready to join Lila on the other side.

Coming: Johnny grows weaker. Will he confess before he dies?

McBain Saves the Day - Almost

Heather offers to become Victor's nanny as an unsuspecting Tea doesn't know who she really is. Heather plans to have a second chance of being a mother and plans to keep Victor as her own but first she has to do away with Tea.

Jason and Elizabeth discuss Sam's baby and Elizabeth tries to dissuade him from looking for the truth. Jason remembered how Sam was insistent that the baby he handed her was not hers but Elizabeth told him that she was not with it at the time. She warned him that putting her through an investigation would only make her have to lose the baby all over again.

Jason is determined to find out the truth.

Jerry arrives with Alexis and they argue over letting her go.

Todd sneaks away and transfers the money. Alexis agrees to go along with Jerry as long as her daughters will get the anti-serum.

Shawn gives a clue to John and Dante and they head to the marina to find Jerry. They take out Jerry's men and this causes Jerry to switch to a new plan.

Jerry and Jax wrestle with the gun and Johnny and Jax wind up getting shot.

Sonny and Jax fight Jerry to leave Alexis out of it.

Sonny and Jax go after Jerry who takes off with Alexis.

John,Dante and Shawn arrive to find Carly and Todd trying to help Johnny whose wound is very bad. The anti-serum is locked in a case and Jerry leaves without giving them the combination to open it.

Sam feels like the end is near and Jason reassures her that there is still hope.

Tea is stunned by Heather's nanny skills.

Dante manages to open the case but finds a bomb inside.

Todd tells Johnny that he deserves to bleed to death because he killed Hope.

Back to Reality

Jason tries to comfort Sam after she shares her fantasy of how she wishes life would have gone.

Patrick tells Elizabeth that Ewen is dead and she feels sad. He also tells her that Ewen tried to tell him something about Robin but he died before he could tell him.

Patrick tries to tell Sam that there was nothing she could have done to save her baby and he pulls the autopsy reports and goes over them with Jason, Sam and Elizabeth.

Patrick takes Sam to get some tests done because of the bump she got on her head and Elizabeth and Jason look at the reports. The baby who died had a different blood type than Sam and Franco and therefore could not have been her baby. The baby also died from a condition that Sam had been tested for and didn't have.

They determine that the baby who died could not have been Sam's at all but how could that be they wonder? They know their time is short but will Jason investigate it further?

Sam walks in as Elizabeth asks Jason if he should share this with her.

Shawn and Alexis discuss the kiss they shared and he tells her that he didn't want to waste any more time. Meanwhile Molly and TJ talk about their fears of their lives ending without getting to experience life.

Heather visits with Tea and little Victor. Tea thanks Heather for saving her baby's life. What is Heather up to?

Sonny, Johnny, Carly, Jax and Todd await Jerry at the warehouse by the docks and nerves are running high. Johnny and Todd argue over each others' secrets while Sonny can't help but blame Jax for Jerry being around to do this to Port Charles.

Carly senses Johnny has a secret and pleads with him to come clean.

Jerry goes to Alexis' and knocks out Shawn. Meanwhile Molly and TJ are in her room unaware of what is going on.

Jerry tells Alexis he saved her so that she could go away with him.

Jerry holds Alexis at gun point and brings her to the warehouse to get his money.

John tells Dante about the group that is dealing with Jerry and informs him that Sonny is one of the people willing to pay the ransom.

The police struggle to find where the meeting is taking place. Shawn arrives at the police station and tells John and Dante that Jerry has Alexis.

As the residents of Port Charles face what could be their deaths, Sam and Jason talk about what if things had been different.

In Sam's fantasy she doesn't play into Heather's games and instead leaves confident that the baby she is carrying is hers and Jason's. Sam tells Jason in great detail her fantasy of how it all played out.

They share together all the happiness of awaiting their baby's birth and even see Maxie and Spinelli into a reconciliation. Their baby boy is born and they prepare to live a happy family life together.

Meanwhile in the real world, Heather makes an attempt to tell Steve she is sorry but it falls on deaf ears. Steve is busy trying to help people and doesn't want to hear Heather's apologies.

Heather then decides that time is short and she has had enough. She kills the nurse who was trying to council her and then takes off.

Heather winds up in Llanview at the home of Tea Delgado who answers the door with her baby in her arms.

What will Heather do next???
